Lupiner

Sveriges vackraste ogräs.
Jag är uppvuxen med en äng bakom mitt barndomshem fullt av vackra lupiner.
Mina föräldrar hade en delad åsikt om de var vackra eller ogräs, men de fick åtminstone växa kvar och jag brukade sitta vid slänten med lupiner bakom mig och ha picknick.
Helt fantastiskt att ha picknick så nära huset och vara omgivningen av sommarens vackraste blommor.

Det är detta jag längtar att få visa min marockanska man, dessa smultronställen som finns i Sverige.

Min vän från Ungern älskar lupiner, jag tror inte hon vet att många i Sverige ser dessa som ogräs, för henne är det samma som för mig mycket vackera blommor som ska finnas med i en bukett eller till midsommarstången.

Sweden's most beautiful weed. I grew up with a meadow behind my childhood home full of beautiful lupines.My parents had a shared opinion about whether they were beautiful or weed, but at least they had to grow and I used to sit at the slope with lupins behind me and have a picnic. Great to have a picnic as close to the house and be the surroundings of the summer's most beautiful flowers. This is what I crave to show my Moroccan husband, these lovley  spots that are in Sweden. My friend from Hungary loves lupins, I don't think she knows that many in Sweden see these as weeds, for her it is the same as for me very beautiful flowers that should be included in a bouquet or to the midsummerbar.
